Big River Clifftops
Mendocino City California
Mendocino City perches on the flat promontory south of the mouth of the Big River. Only one side of Main Street was ever developed, the other side was occupied by the long-vanished lumber mill and shipping facilities. This beautful open space is protected within Mendocino Headlands State Park.
