Benbow and Garberville
South Fork of the Eel River California
At Garberville the Eel River valley widens a bit and there are two small towns. Garberville is the service center for the entire Eel River region. Redway is on the road that leads west to Shelter Cove and the Mattole River on the Lost Coast.
The Benbow Inn is an elegant relic of a bygone era, a Tudor style country hotel built in 1926.
