In the Kennedy Meadows Campground on the Kern Plateau. This is an important resupply point on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), with easy road access and a nearby store. Kennedy Meadows is considered to be the division point between the 700 mile desert portion of the trail and the Sierra Nevada.
