Salmon Creek and Salmon Creek Falls
on the Big Sur coast, Los Padres National Forest California

Salmon Creek is a surprisingly boisterous stream, coursing six miles down from the 3000 foot coastal ridge. Just as it reaches Highway One it drops over a spectacular (though hard to view) double waterfall. Trails lead up the canyon into the Silver Peak Wilderness.
