Virtual Guidebook to Baja California Norte
Hot Spring Campsite
Cañon de Guadalupe, Baja California Norte, Mexico

The campground at Cañon de Guadalupe boasts a hot tub at each campsite. I think we had the best site, up on the slope, right next to one of the springs. The water came out of the ground at 115º, but we let it cool for an hour or so before getting in. The campsite was fully screened with a wall of palm thatch and had a small patio with table, and a flat spot for our tent just up the hill.

There is a tiny store and restaurant -- no electricity, but they bring in ice weekly so there are cold drinks most days. Apparently there are crowds of people here on weekends, but it was almost empty mid-week when we were there. It cost us $15 a night, pretty steep for Mexico, but well worth it.
