Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte
Sedona, Arizona

Bell Rock on a sunny afternoon.

When I first arrived there was only moonlight.
By the first light of dawn I could see Bell Rock. As the sunrise approached the fog started to thin.
The first indirect light of day showed the red of the rock. The fog swirled a round as the day began.
The first direct light fell upon the high rocks all around. The fog kept moving around as the sun rose.
Brilliant daylight on the red rocks, but the fog was coming back. The fog rolled in and blotted out the first light of day.
